Post the Publication Date in your EMAIL subject line  – To Post 5/18

The single largest problem in effectively creating a digital marketing plan for an organization is the paralysis by over analysis of the team members.

Delays by members of your marketing circle will kill your plans of content publishing.

Digital Marketing should not be a lesson in time management of schedules you  will never have control over.

Pushing through an organization for content and approval and meeting deadline dates for publishing… May be as large a task as creation and design.

A simple solution?

  • Set the Publish Date.
  • Agreement by everyone  on day one we meet publish dates.
  •  Include the publish date in your correspondence.

Pushing  & publishing content  on a regular basis means meeting hard deadlines.

Think like a Newscast, a Newspaper or Magazine with hard deadlines and a publishing date.   Every team member contributes on time, regardless of title. Agreeing to meet, publish dates are fixed and agreed upon in your original conversation.

This rule will be bent but it if established and followed the simple three steps above is  a solution to paralysis by analysis.
